Jamestown Yacht Basin & Marina

The Jamestown Yacht Basin is located on Powhatan Creek behind Jamestown Island, next to the Historic James on the James River. The covered, full service marina features 90 wet slips with ample space for transients, a double-wide boat ramp with docks on both sides, a bath house with showers, pumpout, 89 Octane Gas, store/snack bar, bait, field storage, boat service center, and 15-ton travel lift. Soft drinks, snacks, ice, bait, tackle and beer available for purchase.

Bike, kayak, canoe and Stand up paddle boards are available for rent in the store.

The marina is in full operation and has slips for rent. Boat service is available through Hampton Marine Services.

We will be continuing to work on plans for a cafe and deck in the upstairs of our building.

The Exhibit areas are in the planning and design stages and we look forward to starting on those late in 2012. We hope to have the trail system in place and some exhibits functioning by Spring 2013.
