Boat Launching in Gloucester VA

CAPPAHOSIC LANDING—Rt. 618 York River Access. This boat landing and beach is located at the end of Cappahosic Road. Spend the day enjoying bank fishing, the beach, and picnicking. Or launch your boat for a day on the York River. Parking is limited and the rest-rooms are available seasonally (May through October). Maintenance: Park maintained by Gloucester County (804-693-2355). Landing maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

CEDAR BUSH/OLIVER’S LANDING—Rt. 633 York River Access. This boat landing is located at the end of Cedar Bush Road. Parking, bank fishing and boat launch-ing are available. Maintenance: Landing is maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

DEEP POINT LANDING—Rt. 606 Piankatank River Access. This boat landing is located at the end of Deep Point Lane. Spend the day enjoying bank fishing and picnicking or launch your boat. Parking is available. Maintenance: Landing is maintained by Game & Inland Fisheries (804-367-1605)

GLOUCESTER POINT BEACH PARK—Greate Road York River Access. Located next to the Coleman Bridge. Two boat landings, a sandy beach with swimming area, and a large fishing pier…come and spend a full day here! Maintenance: Park maintained by Gloucester County (804-693-2355). Landings maintained by Virginia Game & Inland Fisheries (804-367-1605).

TANYARD LANDING—Rt. 617 Poropotank River Access. Located at the end of Tanyard Landing Road. Try your luck at fishing or launch your boat! Parking is available. Follow the Poropotank River to the west to visit the York River. Maintenance: Maintained by Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries (804-367-1605).

WAREHOUSE LANDING—Rt. 621 Ware River Access. Located at the end of Ware House Road. Bank fishing and parking are available. Spend the day on this river which flows to the Mobjack Bay. Maintenance: Maintained by Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries (804-367-1605)

CHERRY POINT LANDING—Rt. 654 Severn River Access. Located at the end of Broad Marsh Road. Maintenance: Maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

FIELD’S LANDING—Rt. 1301 York River Access. Located at the end of Fields Landing Road. Maintenance: Maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

GLASS POINT LANDING—Rt. 656 Severn River Access. Located at the end of Glass Road. Fishing area & parking. Maintenance: Maintained by Gloucester County (804-693-2355).

GUINEA LANDING—Rt. 651 Mobjack Bay Access. Located at the end of Browns Bay Road. Maintenance: Maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

JOHN’S POINT LANDING—Rt. 657 Severn River Access. Located at the end of Johns Point Road. Enjoy fishing, boat land-ing for car top boats only, and parking. Maintenance: Maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

MILLER’S LANDING—Rt. 612 Poropotank River Access. Located at the end of Miller’s Landing Road. Fishing area and parking. Maintenance: Maintained by VDOT (804-758-2321).

PAYNE’S LANDING—Rt. 630 Ware River Access. Located at the end of Paynes Landing Road. Maintenance: Maintained by Gloucester County (804-693-2355).
