Youth rowing program offered in Williamsburg VA

Williamsburg Boat Club will launch a youth rowing program in the fall of 2014. The program is open to high school students and will be held the first week of school and will continue through the Thanksgiving break. A second session will start in March. Both seasons will include three races. Practices will be held five days a week from 3-5 p.m. at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. There will also be two summer rowing camps.

The first session will be held June 23-28 and the second session will be held from Aug. 4-9. An informational meeting will be held June 1 at 4 p.m. at the Tack Family Boathouse at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. Visit www.wbsjuniors.org or call Ann Mease at 757- 508-0729
